The night before your facial in Manhattan, we recommend cleansing your face, avoiding shaving and waxing, and drinking lots of water.
Facials usually take 1 hour to complete. Clients should stay away from direct sunlight for 24 hours post-procedure. Adequate hydration through drinking plenty of water is key to removing toxins from the skin. Applying some hyaluronic acid for a couple days after the procedure may also benefit you.

The plumping and glowing skin effects from a facial should be visible immediately and typically last about a month to six weeks.
There are a number of things clients might experience right after getting a facial. Your skin may be very tender, so be aware that some type of post-facial sensitivity is normal. Other issues that are possible if you have skin allergies to certain skin products or you may have redness and irritation too after a facial. All of these possibilities are minor and should subside in 24 hours.
